Since Love Island returned to ITV 2 on Monday, June 3rd, fans of the show have returned to their usual ritual of tuning in every night of the week to follow the Islanders on their journey to love.

But one thing that seems to be an unavoidable part of the Love Island watching experience is the picking apart of the Islanders – their actions, their clothes, the lot.

So when newbies arrive on the scene, what else is there to do but delve into an in-depth grilling of the new Islanders on Twitter?

And new girl Francesca Allen was not exempt. 

Here’s why everyone went wild over Francesca’s eyebrows…

Francesca’s brows

Since the 90s thin eyebrow look died out, big brows have been all the range. They’re pretty much an essential part of everyone’s makeup routine nowadays.

And Francesca definitely has nailed the look.

Her big arched brows were an immediate topic of discussion as soon as she stepped in the villa with many viewers drooling over them. One Twitter user even said: “I’d like to couple up with the new girls eyebrows”!

But her arched brows weren’t only being drooled over, as quickly parallels were being drawn between Francesca’s brows and a few funny characters.

The best of the memes

As Francesca arched one eyebrow so high it almost didn’t seem like it was fully attached to her skin, viewers couldn’t help but draw some parallels between her and some comedic characters.

Some of the best ranged from The Rock’s famous eyebrow raise to Anchelotti’s arch.

But our favourite of bunch had to be the comparison of Francesca to Rachel Dratch’s ‘eyebrow woman’ in the 2011 Adam Sandler flick, Just Go With It.
