faced a tough task when he defended the WWE Universal Championship against “The Demon” Finn Balor at WWE Extreme Rules.
In the night’s only Extreme Rules Match, the two stars waged war using a variety of weapons. Reigns slammed Balor through one table, but “The Demon” sent the champion crashing through another with a crossbody. At one point fairly earl in the bout, Balor broke out some “Demonized” kendo sticks and punished “The Tribal Chief” with them.
Well that’s just excessive.

Balor kept Reigns on his toes, and even when the champion dropped his challenger with a Spear, “The Demon” took a trick out of Reigns’ book by kicking out with a low blow. With a Coup de Grâce, Balor nearly won the match, but Reigns kicked out. At this point, the Usos capitalized on the “extreme” stipulation and attacked “The Demon”, but he fended them of. Still, Reigns capitalized by sending Balor crashing through the barricade with a Spear. This devastating impact wasnt enough to put the challenger down.
The sound of his heartbreat filled the arena, and the lights turned red, giving Balor a second wind. With his music playing, Balor fired up and sent Reigns crashing through a table. He went for another Coup de Grâce, but the ropes snapped, causing him to tumble off the ropes. Reigns subsequently dropped Balor with another Spear for the win.
