A 17-year-old student whose name is Austin Lyle has been named a suspect in Wednesday’s East High School, Denver shooting. According to the officials, he shot and wounded two teachers before fleeing.
The police said that the teenager had to be beaten up every day in school because of his record. After being shot, the student allegedly killed himself while on the run from the police. His body was found hours later in some woods near his abandoned red Volvo. The city was ordered to shelter in place while officers from multiple agencies, including the FBI, searched the woods.
Austin Lyle is described as a 5’5 tall man who weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing a green hoodie during the shoot. he was 17 years old. Thomas said the suspect was subject to a school safety plan that included daily pat-downs. During the search, the school management found a kiosk. Then shots were fired at an office area in front of the school.
Austin Lyle’s body was found hours later in some woods near his abandoned red Volvo. The two victims – now identified as Eric Sinclair, a dean of culture, and Gerald Mason, coordinator in Restorative Practices – were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Mr. Sinclair remains in a serious condition while Mr. Mason was later released after treatment.
